Emily Jones Named Wright Memorial Hospital 2025 Employee of The Year

Wright Memorial Hospital recently announced its 2025 Employee of the Year. Emily Jones, a mammography technologist at Wright Memorial Hospital, was presented with the award at a ceremony held in her honor on February 23. The other finalists for the award were 2025 Employee of the Quarter recipients Halley Windsor, Misty Houghton, and Gloria Coffman.
In her nomination form, Jones’s coworkers said, “Emily goes above and beyond for her patients. She is very respectful and sensitive to their needs. She extends kindness and patience to her coworkers as well. Emily is quick to offer help to her team members on top of her own busy schedule.”
Jones enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a board member and volunteer at the Green Hills Animal Shelter. Over the past 20 years, Emily and her husband have adopted rescue dogs and cats. She likes coffee shops, thrift stores, green houses, growing flowers, and photographing insects. She enjoys spending time on their small farm west of Brimson, Mo., where she goes to hunt mushrooms, pick blackberries, and relax in the great outdoors.
